The family of Abdul Rahmadan Omega Sesay, a prominent All People’s Congress (APC) official in Port Loko District, recently found dead and Lungi hotel room, has released postmortem result indicating he was strangled and potentially poisoned.
The findings categorically dismissed social media claims that his death was a result of a drug or alcohol overdose.
According to a public notice issued by the deceased family, the autopsy conducted in Freetown revealed clear evidence of foul play.
Pathologists determined that Sesay’s neck was broken, which culminated in strangulation. The examination also uncovered indications of severe foof poisoning, with medical examiners noting that his gut was found to be black.
According to earlier reports, Sesay was allegedly killed together with a young woman identified as Mary Sia Bangura, a student.
The police in L7ngi have already taken three suspects into custody in connection with the alleged murders, though authorities have not yet released the identities of tge suspects.
