The Satellite can authoritatively confirm that the erstwhile Head Coach of the Sierra Leone national male football team, Mohamed Kalkon, was recently sacked by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) because of indiscipline and lack of respect for authorities. An impeccable source close to SLFA disclosed that the Association President, Babadi Kamara, inherited from his predecessor Daddy Brima some arrangements he made regarding the contract of Mohamed Kallon as Head Coach of Leone Stars.
Babadi Kamara then authorised that those arrangements be reviewed and that Mohaned Kallon should be part of the reviewing process to enable SLFA to prepare a fresh contract for the head coach, the souce disclosed, adding that consequently, Mohamed Kallon failed to comply with the instructions of the SLFA President.
“Lack of respect and indiscipline are the keywords for Mohamed Kallon’s behaviour. He didn’t respect the authority that employed him. He didn’t respect the system of the game. He didn’t listen to instructions such as adjusting his backroom staff,” the source disclosed.
It furthered that the indiscipline aspect of Mohamed Kallon was caused by ego and that he had some dictatorial tendencies that drove him to do things in his own way instead of listening to instructions from his employer.
