The All People’s Congress (APC) Party has been thrown into a state of mourning following the death of its National Chairman, Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, who passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026. Among those most deeply affected by this tragic loss is Hon. Cherenor Ramadan Maju Bah, popularly known as Chericoco, a highly respected and devoted member of the APC who also serves as the party’s flagbearer. Hon. Chericoco, widely regarded by supporters as one of the most popular, trusted, faithful, and die-hard members of the APC, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the party’s National Chairman. Describing the loss as irreparable, he noted that the death of Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray represents a painful moment not only for the APC but also for the nation as a whole. In his message of condolence,
Chericoco called on family members, party executives, supporters, grassroots members, and all those affected by the loss to remain steadfast in their faith. He urged them to place their trust in God during this difficult period, emphasizing that while the loss is painful, hope and strength can be found through faith and unity.
The APC flagbearer further encouraged party members to remain calm, resilient, and committed to the ideals and values that the late National Chairman stood for throughout his life. According to him, Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray dedicated himself to the growth and progress of the APC, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.
Hon. Cherenor Ramadan Maju Bah also offered heartfelt prayers for the repose of the soul of the departed leader. He prayed that Almighty God grants Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray eternal rest and rewards him for his years of dedicated service to the party and the people of Sierra Leone.
Concluding his tribute, Chericoco expressed hope that this unfortunate loss would serve as a unifying moment for the APC family. He prayed that peace, reconciliation, and solidarity would prevail among all party members, enabling the APC to emerge stronger while preserving the memory and contributions of its late National Chairman.
