The All People’s Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its commitment to dialogue and electoral reforms following a high-level engagement with European Union and member state diplomats.
At the meeting, APC representatives held discussions with EU Ambassador Jacek Jankowski, German Ambassador Pascal Richter, Irish Ambassador Patrick McManus, and French Chargé d’Affaires Jean Lamy. Talks centered on the urgent need for all stakeholders to uphold the eight-point communiqué brokered by international moral guarantors.
The APC emphasized that full adherence to the agreement remains critical to ensuring the timely, effective, and inclusive implementation of both the Agreement for National Unity and the recommendations of the Tripartite Committee.
Party officials noted that sustained dialogue among political actors and development partners is essential for strengthening electoral integrity and restoring public confidence in Sierra Leone’s democratic processes.
Reiterating its position, the APC welcomed continued international engagement and pledged its readiness to work collaboratively with all parties to advance reforms aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and national cohesion.
