The National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) is set to unveil a new, state-of-the-art Northwest Regional Office in Port Loko City, aiming to decentralize services and improve accessibility for retirees. The facility, part of a broader expansion, will reduce the need for regional members to travel to Freetown for services.
The office is designed to enhance service delivery for pensioners and members in the Northwest region and it is part of NASSIT’s commitment to decentralizing its operations, similar to the recently opened Moyamba office.
The project was initiated with a sod-turning ceremony in 2021 as part of broader efforts to boost regional infrastructure. It is a significant milestone for NASSIT’s regional service coverage.
