His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio has reliably informed the grieving family of the late All People’s Congress (APC) National Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray and the leadership of the party of the Government of Sierra Leone’s full support in organising a dignified and befitting funeral for the departed politician.
According to confirmed party sources, President Bio gave the assurance during a funeral meeting held at State House yesterday, Thursday 18th June 2026, between the President, an APC delegation led by the Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh, and members of the bereaved family.
Following the meeting, President Bio expressed profound sadness over the passing of Hon. Mansaray and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the party leadership, party supporters, and all Sierra Leoneans mourning his demise.
The President assured that the state would provide the necessary support to ensure that the late APC National Chairman receives a respectable farewell worthy of his service to the nation.
He prayed for comfort, strength, and peace for the grieving family during this difficult time.
