At the maiden edition of Civic Day London, the Director General of the National Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NPRA), Baluwa Koroma, held strategic bilateral meetings with development partners and members of the Sierra Leonean diaspora community.

During the engagements, he highlighted the Authority’s remarkable achievements in the downstream petroleum sector, particularly in strengthening regulatory oversight, improving revenue generation, and advancing reforms aimed at positioning Sierra Leone’s downstream industry as a competitive and attractive sector within the sub-region.

The Director General also held a detailed one-on-one meeting with the incoming British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, Madam Josephine Gauld. Discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration, including regulatory compliance, capacity building, and digital transformation initiatives to align the sector with evolving global standards and demands.
