SLPP WASHINGTON D.C. METRO CHAPTER TO ORGANISE GRAND INAUGURATION CEREMONY

The Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in Washington D.C. in the United States of America (USA) has disclosed that a three-day grand inauguration ceremony will be organized on Friday, May 15, 2026.
According to Secretary William Allieu, the grand inauguration ceremony will be “an inspiring, vibrant, and unforgettable three-day celebration filled with unity, culture, and purpose.”
The scribe disclosed that the ceremony will commence on Friday, 15th May, 2026, with Juma prayers at 2:00p.m. for Muslim members seeking blessings and guidance for the journey ahead.
Later, at 8:00 p.m., William Allieu said members of the grand old party would converge on Metro Point Hotel, Annapolis Road, Maryland, for an exciting meet-and-greet cultural performance, adding that it will be an evening of networking, entertainment, and showcasing their rich Sierra Leonean heritage.
He said on Saturday, May 16, they will have the inaugural ceremony and dinner and dance celebrating and honouring the newly elected executive, noting that it will be a night of elegance, unity, and a joyful night of celebration as they usher in a new chapter.
The celebration, according to Willaim Allieu, will conclude on Sunday, 17th May, with a special church service for Christian members, giving thanks and seeking continuous blessings. “This is more than just an event. It is a celebration of leadership, culture, and togetherness,” the scribe assured. “Come out in your numbers to support, celebrate, and be part of this historic moment.”
